The Full Monty - Catford Broadway and the New Players Theatre

'Ello, 'Ello, 'Ello...
It seems that young Thom Sutherland is up to his usual tricks down at the Catford Broadway.
Some of our officers attended a performance a few days ago and, we must be honest, we are glad we did!

The show is based on the film of the same name and follows a similar story but set in Buffalo in the United States of America. The central character is about to lose access to his child unless he can pay the child support he owes... And we all know the plan he comes up with to get the cash!

There are some great moments in this show, especially the wonderfully comic "Big Ass Rock", a song about assisted suicide when they find a man trying to kill himself in his car.

The show is well cast with some great performances throughout.

Notable is Magnus Giljam's Musical Direction and Thom Sutherland has pieced the whole thing together with his usual skill. These are two creatives we all need to keep an eye on!

The show runs at the Catford Broadway Studio and will Transfer to the New Players Theatre later this year. More details will be provided soon.

Briefing ends. Questions?
